Family Campout  —  July 23 – 26th, 2010

Polestar’s Family Campout convenes each summer on the Big Island’s Ho’okena beach. Family Campout for 2009 was an unforgettable experience for all of us. The dolphins attended again this year, as if on cue, providing an ongoing, amazing display of acrobatic grace and wonder. Volleyball was  non-stop with many new recruits catching "the bug" and an ever ascending level of competition and fun.  The music this year was especially enjoyable with the addition of  marimbas with Michael and Osha Breez.

Great company, food, snorkeling, jewelry and basket making made this a memorable time for all. Congratulations to Bernadette and Dom who took first prize at entertainment night with their virtuosic, critically acclaimed rendering of "Ain' that funky now!" In all 60 stalwart souls participated.
